Alberto Gandsas, argentino, 1936 History
Self-taught photographer, studied film with director Moglia Barth (Cinematography Huella, 1961-1963).
He began to travel to southern Argentina in 1993 especially the Patagonia.
In 1996 he find the ideal space to transmit the Patagonian landscape in the format of the panoramic camera.
It is not only the photography of the great scenary of the landscape, he also try to include inside the photography feelings and contrasts, which in the case of panoramic photography, should locate through: angles, shadows and space.
Connoisseur of the extensive possibilities of expression that provides the panoramic format, through special cameras (analogic which vary angle between 145 to 180 ) and after with the study of the digital camera, takes the widescreen format over the landscape to introduces his photography in the Fine Art.

1996 develops: "Works of panoramic photography of the Argentine South - La Patagonia"
2001 result of their exhibitions abroad began its work of: "Panoramic photography of the world"
2002 initiated the study and research of: "The photography overview in the context of the contemporary art"
2003 publishes its 1st. book: "A trip to the Argentine South through panoramic photography" bilingual edition
2006 published his 2nd book: "PATAGONIA, the peaceful look" bilingual edition
2006 with photographic digital begins to develop work within the broader context of contemporary art

His works were presented at: Mexico, Argentina, USA, Italy, Spain
His photographs are part of private collections.
